Easter 2015 - Once for All

Easter is the holiest day of the year for the Christian faith. It replaced the holiest day of the year for the Jewish nation, the Day of Atonement; which is a fascinating narrative rich in symbolism with the sacrificial lamb and scape goat. Year after year on that day God’s people were required to perform an elaborate ceremony to atone for their sins of the past year. Easter replaced the Day of Atonement once for all when Jesus became both the sacrificial lamb and the scape goat.
